If Someone you know needs help
Knowing how to assist someone to get the help they need for alcoholism or drug addiction is confusing and heart-wrenching. Often, attempts to help may make the situation worse adding guilt, anger and frustration to the anguish and confusion. Well-meaning efforts to help someone with an alcohol or drug problem can actually empower them to continue their destructive behavior by allowing them to avoid the consequences of their actions. This is called "enabling." This can make the person without the addiction almost as dysfunctional as the addict. The Fellowship Center can assist you through this difficult time.
